Recently we had an email enquiry asking “are Simple skin care products oil-free?“. To help others with similar queries we have decided to post our response on this blog.

The short answer is yes, some products from the Simple range are oil-free, for example the facial wipes and make-up remover pads (If you know any more products that are oil-free leave us a comment below).

Certain Simple Skincare products are not oil-free but are great at absorbing excess oil, like the Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash. It’s worth noting that all Simple products contain no perfume, colours or harsh chemials. Just plain and simple!

Are Simple Products tested on Animals?
You may also be pleased to know that Simple Skin care products are NOT tested on animals and are free of animal derived ingredients. On the official Simple web site they state the following in their Frequently Asked Questions section:

Simple products are not tested on animals. All SIMPLE products and ingredients are subject to full product safety clearance in compliance with the European Cosmetic Directive. Should further research be required on a particular product or ingredient, we can confirm that as a responsible manufacturer, suitable non-animal testing techniques are employed.
